Psychologist Dave Anderson realized that family crisis intervention was happening too late. Through his organization, Safe Families for Children, he is creating a movement of host families that extends the community safety net by providing parents in need – on their own or at the recommendation of a case worker – a loving sanctuary where they can safely place their children in times of crises.
