Political Parity

Political Parity is a nonpartisan initiative to dramatically increase the number of women in high-level political offices, from the state house to the White House. This program is built on a dream of a country with a critical mass of women in highest political office who collectively add a broader perspective and wield a collaborative approach to shape a stronger and more just society.

We are working with a diverse group of individuals, organizations, and academic institutions to develop and share best practices for achieving political parity, to share information and resources among those working to elect women, and to create a sense of inspiration and urgency for achieving our goal.

Because we need 100% of America’s talent.

It’s easy to find political and leadership resources for women. With support from the Political Parity, the Center for American Women and Politics has identified leadership development and campaign training programs, political action committees, and organizations and programs committed to supporting and encouraging women in politics.
