Jonathan Talbot is communications manager at The Institute for Inclusive Security, where he supervises traditional and social media outreach, designs communications strategies for advocacy campaigns, builds organizational communications capacity, and manages day-to-day research initiatives, including serving as an editor of publications.

Previously, Mr. Talbot worked for four years at the World Resources Institute, including managing communications for its governance program and co-authoring a book on increasing civil society participation in environmental decisions. He previously worked in communications at several other nongovernmental organizations, including the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, Defenders of Wildlife, the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole, Union of Concerned Scientists, and the EarthSave Foundation, in addition to two years in marketing for a privately-held company and two years running a community nonprofit program. He holds an MS in journalism from Boston University and a multidisciplinary BS from the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University.
