Erin Hutchens is program assistant at The Institute for Inclusive Security, where she focuses on training and capacity building. She also provides overall program support to the many conflict nations and regions where Inclusive Security is deeply involved.

Previously, Ms. Hutchens was a social worker focusing on services for mentally challenged adults. She grew up overseas, spending much of her time in China, South Africa, and the Philippines which helped shape her interests today. Ms. Hutchens received her BA in sociology from the University of Mary Washington and is pursuing an MS in conflict analysis and resolution at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University.
