Allison Shean is senior training specialist and program officer at The Institute for Inclusive Security, where she designs and leads trainings and consultations for leaders from civil society, government, and academia. Ms. Shean also works on Inclusive Security’s Pakistan program, supporting a national coalition of Pakistani women working to moderate extremism and build social cohesion. She co-authored the Institute’s Curriculum for Women Waging Peace and has managed Inclusive Security’s annual colloquium for women peace builders in Cambridge.

Before joining the Institute, Ms. Shean received a Human Rights Fellowship from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut that included a placement at Amnesty International USA in Washington, DC. She also worked as a research and youth programs assistant with the US Department of Agriculture. Ms. Shean is a graduate of Trinity College, where she received a BA with honors in public policy and law.
