| | On January 20 and 21, 2010, visiting leaders from Pakistan, Lebanon, Bosnia, and Rwanda met with US policymakers in Washington, DC to ask for help in their efforts to moderate extremism in their home countries. Meetings included members of Congress, a Senator, and senior officials at the State Department and USAID. over the course of 18 meetings in Washington. The women also met with assistants to Special Envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke. |
