Troubadour’s mission is to provide educational services to schools, camps, daycares, libraries, and community organizations to enhance public appreciation of poetry, music, and songwriting; to integrate these art forms into existing school curricula and community programs to promote literacy, writing skills, and academic achievement; to develop and distribute educational materials related to literacy through the arts; and to promote cultural diversity and mitigate sources of violence through arts and literacy education.
