The Faith Quilts Project

Led by Clara Wainwright, a quilt-maker and public celebration artist, the Faith Quilts Project brings together members of the faith communities in the Greater Boston area to create collaborative works of art–faith quilts–that express what their faith means to them. At least 50 faith quilts will be created by April 2006–some by single-faith communities and some by interfaith groups.  The project seeks to inspire not only artistic creation but also human connection across lines of religion and cultural identity.  Community members, both young and old, participate in the creation of these faith quilts.
