Ambassador Hunt testified before U.S. Congress on “Women as Agents of Change: Advancing the Role of Women in Politics and Civil Society.” Ambassador Hunt joined Ambassador Melanne Verveer, Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues, Office of Global Women’s Issues, U.S. Department of State; Esther Brimmer, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of International Organization Affairs, U.S. Department of State; Mr. Kenneth Wollack, President, National Democratic Institute; and Ms. Judy Van Rest, Executive Vice President, The International Republican Institute, to promote the role of women leaders in politics and civil society.
